The use of canistherapy in the context of speech therapy intervention

Abstract:

Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá možnostmi využití canisterapie v rámci logopedické intervence. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí, na část teoretickou a empirickou. V teoretické části je věnována pozornost dvěma zásadním okruhům, a to komunikaci a logopedii v první kapitole, ve druhé kapitole zooterapii. Empirická část práce se věnuje provedenému výzkumnému šetření, jehož cílem byla analýza využití canisterapie v rámci logopedické intervence a poskytnutí doporučení při využívání canisterapie v logopedické praxi.

Abstract:

This Bachelor thesis focuses on the use of canistherapy in the speech therapy intervention. The study is organized in two parts, theoretical and empirical one. The theoretical part describes two pivotal topics, communication along with speech therapy in the first chapter and zootherapy in the second chapter. Empirical part then summarizes the results of a qualitative survey on the use of canistherapy in speech therapy intervention. It also presents analytical discussion and recommendations for the use of canistherapy speech therapy practice.
