Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá utopií, přesněji pojednává o utopii 16. a 17. století v období humanismu a novověku. Zaměřím se na představu naprostého ideálu dobrého a fungujícího státu či obce, ke kterému se má společnost nejvíce přiblížit. Cílem bakalářské práce bude rozebrat myšlenky této problematiky u Thomase Mora, Tommase Campanelly a Francise Bacona. A to zejména na jejich dílech Utopie, Sluneční stát a Nová Atlantida.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis is aimed at utopia, more specifically at the utopia of the 16th and 17th centuries in the period of humanism and the early modern age. It is focused on the idea of the absolute ideal of a good and functioning state or municipality, to which society should come closest as possible. Furthermore, another objective of the thesis is to analyze the ideas of this matter regarding Thomas More, Tommaso Campanella and Francis Bacon. It mainly focuses on their literature, such as Utopia, City of the Sun and New Atlantis.
