Speleotherapy as Method of Supporting the Health of Pupils with Chronic Respiratory Disease

Abstract:

Předložená diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou chronického respiračního onemocnění u dětí a léčebnou metodou zvanou speleoterapie. Začíná informacemi obecnými (anatomie dýchacího systému, chronické respirační onemocnění, psychická stránka nemoci). Přechází k mezioborové spolupráci (nejen vyšetření, léčba, ale také terapie a edukace žáků s chronickým respiračním onemocněním). Následuje kapitola zabývající se speleoterapií (historie a současnost ve světě i České republice). Kapitola poslední popisuje průběh komplexní speleoterapie i výuku žáků při dětské léčebně a nalézá odpovědi na následující otázky. Jakým způsobem ovlivňuje léčebný program zdraví sledovaných informantů, jaký vliv má pravidelnost denního programu na informanty a jejich zdraví, jaký vliv má výuka v Základní škole při dětské léčebně v Ostrově u Macochy na zdraví informantů a v čem tkví výhody a nevýhody komplexní speleoterapie, která je pro všechny informanty nastavena téměř shodně?

Abstract:

The presented dissertation is focused on problems with chronic respiratory disease by children and on the treatment method called speleotherapy. It begins with the general information (respiratory system anatomy, chronic respiratory disease and disease psychical aspect). It moves to the interdisciplinary collaboration (not only the examination and medical treatment but also the therapy and the education of pupils (students) with chronic respiratory disease). The chapter focused on the speleotherapy follows (history and presence in the world same as in the Czech Republic). The last chapter describes the comprehensive speleotherapy process and the education of pupils in children sanatorium and finds answers how the treatment program manifests itself by the influence on the health of monitored informants, what effect does the regularity of a daily program for informants and their health, what effect does the education process in the Basic School at the Children Sanatorium in Ostrov u Macochy on their informants’ health and what constitutes the pros and cons of complex speleotherapy that is all set to informants almost identically?
