Wear and tear and the possibilities of renovating presses and molds in the technological process of thermoplastic injection

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se v teoretické části zabývá rešeršním zpracováním technologických procesu vytlačování a vstřikovaní plastických hmot. Přiblížena je samotná podstata polymerů a výrobní vady doprovázené u procesu vstřikování. Uvedeny jsou jednotlivé typy opotřebení a principy, jak řešit a minimalizovat toto opotřebení u šneku vstřikovací jednotky. Metodologie zahrnuje přípravu 3 vzorků, u kterých bylo provedeno nanesení kovových prášků na základní materiál za využití metodiky plamenného navařování. Ty jsou podrobeny metalografické analýze a mechanickým testům. U vzorku je zjištěna jednotlivá tvrdost a rezistence vůči abrazivnímu opotřebení. Z výsledků je patrné, že podstata zvýšení životnosti součásti je důležitým prvkem ve strojírenském odvětví.

Abstract:

In the theoretical part the diploma thesis deals with the research processing of the technological processes of extrusion and injection of plastic materials. Only the nature of the polymers and the manufacturing defects accompanying the injection process are approached. The individual types of wear and the principles of how to solve and minimize this wear on the screw of the injection unit are listed. The methodology includes the preparation of 3 samples in which metal powders were sent to the base material using the flame welding methodology. These are subjected to metallographic analysis and new tests. Individual hardness and resistance to abrasive wear are determined for the sample. It is evident from the results that the essence of increasing the service life of components is an important element in the engineering industry.
