Assistance to clients of foreigner detention facilitiy who are in diffucult life situation provided by leisure time educator

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je popsat způsoby vnímání a prožívání dospělých cizinců ve vztahu k jejich umístění ve vybraném zařízení pro zajištění cizinců, popsat jejích představu podpory od pedagoga volného času a zhodnotit realizovatelnost takové podpory. Výzkumné šetření bylo realizováno formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů mezi osmi vybranými cizinci ve zvoleném zařízení pro zajištění cizinců. Výsledky výzkumného šetření ukazují, že zajištění dotazovaným cizincům působí hlavně psychické a někdy i psychosomatické potíže. Jsou často ve stresu a zatíženi frustrací pramenící z omezení na svobodě, obav z nadcházející budoucnosti a odloučení od blízkých. Přestože dotazovaní cizinci vnímají podmínky v zařízení spíše jako dobré, považují nastavená pravidla za přísná a délku zajištění za příliš dlouhou. Nabízené volnočasové aktivity a pomoc od pedagoga volného času vnímají jako podporu v jejich tíživé situaci. Podporu od pedagoga volného času si představuji ve všech rovinách sociální opory.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to describe ways of perceiving and experiencing of adult foreigners in relation to their detention in the selected facility for foreigners, to describe their idea of support from the free time educator and to assess the feasibility of such support. The research was carried out through semi-structured interviews among eight foreigners from the selected facility for foreigners. Results of the research show that detention of questioned foreigners cause mainly mental and psychosomatic problems. They are often saddled with stress and frustration stemming from the restrictions of freedom, fear of the future and the upcoming separation from loved ones. Although the respondents perceive conditions in the facility as quite well, they consider the rules as strict and the length of detention for too long. Leisure activities and help from the free time educator are perceived as support in their difficult situation. Support from the free time educator is imagined at all levels of social support.
