The thesis discusses the importance of awareness of seniors on cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Its content is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part focuses on the problems of old age (character, aspects, and the age demographics) and lay cardiopulmonary resuscitation (its history, definition, procedures, etiology and CPR issues).
