Analysis of the czech market supllementary pension insurance

Abstract:

Práce podává ucelený přehled o penzijním připojištění v České republice, a to nejen po stránce teoretické, ale především z hlediska realit trhu penzijního připojištění v České republice za celou dobu jeho existence.Teoreticko-metodologická část obsahuje souhrn pojmů, jež se k penzijnímu připojištění vztahují. Důraz je kladen na začlenění penzijního připojištění v systému pojistné ochrany občanů, a také na základní pojmy, jako jsou např. cyklus, účastník či ukončení penzijního připojištění, penzijní fond apod.Praktická část se týká především analýzy českého trhu penzijního připojištění v letech 1994-2007 s důrazem na vývoj po roce 2001. Je zde pojednáno o vývoji penzijních fondů, o účastnících penzijního připojištění, o jejich struktuře, o příjmech a výdajích penzijních fondů a v závěru je znázorněna celková finanční bilance penzijního připojištění.

Abstract:

This diploma paper globally summarises retirement income insurance in the Czech Republic not only from the theoretical point of view but especially from the point of view of the Czech retirement insurance market for the whole period of its existence.Theoretically-methodological part contains aggregate of definitions related to the retirement income insurance. Incorporation of retirement income insurance into the public insurance security is emphasised. The basic definitions such as cycle, participant or insurance termination, pension fund etc. are accented too.The practical part relates especially to analysis of the Czech retirement income insurance market in the years 1994-2007 with emphasis to evolution after 2001. Development of pension funds and retirement income insurance participants are described, their structure, payments into and out of the retirement income insurance system. The open problems of the retirement income insurance and proposals of their solution are mentioned at the end.
