Comparison of the book The Running Man in Czech and German Translation
Abstract:
This diploma thesis presents a comparison of the German and Czech translations of the English book The Running Man by Stephen King. The thesis deals with Stephen King and his life, the differences between the Czech respectively the German version and the English Original in the direct comparison of parts of the texts in terms of stilistics.
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá porovnáním německého a českého překladu anglické knihy The Running Man od Stephena Kinga. Práce se zabývá Stephenem Kingem a jeho životem, rozdíly mezi českou popř. německou verzí a anglickým originálem a přímým porovnáním částí textů po stilistické stránce.
