The development of language phenomena of taboo and noa in Ukrainian and Czech language from their origin to the present.

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou tabu a noa v jazyce a komunikaci Ukrajinců a Čechů. Jádrem této práce je identifikace a porovnání základních tabuových témat v minulosti a v současné ukrajinštině a češtině. A rovněž analyza způsobů jazykové realizace eufemismů v mluveném jazyce a současných textech tištěných médiích na příkladu ukrajinštiny a češtiny. V teoretické části této práce je nejprve vysvětlena podstata termínů tabu, noa, eufemismus, a komunikační tabu a jsou popsany předpoklady pro jejich vznik. V empirické části jsou následně vymezena tabuová témata vyskytující se v mluvě Čechů a Ukrajinců od minulosti do současnosti a způsoby jejich jazykového uchopování.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of taboo and noa in the language and communication of Ukrainians and Czechs. The core of this work is the identification and comparison of essential taboo topics in the past and contemporary Ukrainian and Czech. We have also analyzed the ways of linguistic realization of euphemisms in spoken language and modern texts of the printed media on the example of Ukrainian and Czech. In the theoretical part of this work, the essence of the terms taboo, noa, euphemism, and communication taboo are explained, and the preconditions for their origin are described. The empirical part then defines the taboo topics occurring in the speech of Czechs and Ukrainians from the past to the present and ways of their language grasp.
