Abstract:

Cílem předložené diplomové práce je zmapování sochařské produkce vzniklé v letech 1918-2007 ve veřejném prostoru města Frýdku-Místku. Vytvořila jsem katalogový soupis těchto soch, rozdělený na sochy a reliéfy vázané na architekturu a volné sochy a reliéfy, vše řazené dle chronologie a doplněné fotografickou dokumentací. Do tohoto soupisu nezahrnuji funerální sochařská díla, pamětní desky s nápisy bez sochařského prvku a také sochařské objekty nacházející se v uzavřených areálech mimo veřejný prostor. Pořízení katalogového soupisu předcházel detailní terénní průzkum, kde byly sochařské objekty poměřeny a nafoceny. Dále následovalo bádání v archívech a studium literatury související s danou problematikou. Součástí práce je seznam použitých pramenů a literatury s jejich kritikou. V předložené práci nechybí také poznámkový aparát. V kontextu se sochařskou výzdobou v exteriéru předmětného města jsem svou pozornost zaměřila i na historický vývoj a urbanismus města, utváření kulturního prostředí na Frýdecko-Místecku, sochy vázané na architekturu a peněžní ústavy ve Frýdku-Místku a také tamní pomníky a památníky. Cílem diplomové práce je vytvořit představu o sochařské výzdobě a podat ucelenější obraz o sepjetí této výzdoby s utvářením města a životem v něm. Práce je doplněna mapou města Frýdku-Místku, ve které jsou zachyceny místa se sochařskou instalací, a CD s fotografiemi doplňujícími katalog se soupisem soch a reliéfů.

Abstract:

The objective of the submitted diploma thesis is mapping of sculpture production between the years 1918 and 2007 in the public area of the town of Frýdek-Místek. A catalogue list of these sculptures is elaborated; the sculptures are divided into sculptures and reliefs bound to architecture, and free sculptures and reliefs; everything is classified chronologically and supplemented with photographs. Omitted were funeral sculpture works, plaques with writings without sculpture element, as well as sculpture objects located in enclosed areas outside the public area. The elaboration of the catalogue list was preceded by detailed field study where the sculpture objects were measured and photographed. Researching in archives and studies of bibliography related to the issue came next. The assignment includes a list of used sources and literature with their evaluation. The submitted assignment also contains a list of notes. Within the context of sculpture decoration in the exterior of given town, the attention was paid to historical development and urbanism of the town, formation of cultural environment in the region of Frýdek-Místek, sculptures bound to architecture and financial institutions in Frýdek-Místek, and also local monuments and memorials. The result should be an idea of sculpture decorations and a compact image about formation of the town and the life within. The assignment is supplemented with a map of the town of Frýdek-Místek, which contains marked places with installed sculptures, and a CD with photos supplementing the catalogue with a list of sculptures and reliefs.
