Regional differentiation of population aging in Czechia

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá rozdílným stárnutím populace v rámci naší republiky. Cílem bakalářské práce je demonstrovat stárnutí Česka. Práce zkoumá stárnutí populace Česka na základě změny indexu stáří od 50. let 20. století do současnosti. Od roku 1995 do současnosti je také pojednáváno o regionální diferenciaci stárnutí české populace a dynamice stárnutí obyvatel v obcích Česka. Výsledkem práce je doložení procesu stárnutí populace za uvedené období. Ukazují se značné rozdíly v dynamice stárnutí obyvatel napříč Českem. Nejmladší oblastí je zázemí Prahy a některých dalších krajských měst, naopak nejstarší jsou samotná krajská města a vnitřní periferie Česka, nacházející se v centrální části Čech.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on different aging of population in our republic. Purpose of this bachelor thesis is demonstrate aging population in Czechia. Thesis deals with aging population in Czechia and changing aging index from the 1950s till present. From 1995 till present is also written about regional diferentation of aging czech population and dynamics of aging population in the municipalities of Czechia. The result of the thesis is evidence of aging population in that period. There are significant differences in dynamics of aging across Czechia. The youngest territory are suburbs of Prague and some others suburbs of county seats. On the other hand, the oldest are county seats and inner peripheries of Czechia, which can be found in the central part of Bohemia.
