Numbers and number system past and nowadays

Abstract:

Cílem této práce bylo studium a popis různých příkladů z pozičních a nepozičních soustav a ukázky, jak se prováděly aritmetické operace v jednotlivých soustavách včetně příkladů. Práce je zaměřena pouze na vyjadřování čísel přirozených. Na úvod je zařazen důvod vzniku číselných soustav a speciální jedničková soustava. Následně jsou popsány nepoziční soustavy, neboť většina z nich je záležitostí minulosti. Poté navazuje popis soustav vyskytujících se převážně dnes, které jsou řazeny zejména do pozičních soustav. Při popisu soustav bylo čerpáno z dostupné literatury věnující se většinou historii a výběr příkladů i jejich řešení jsem vypracovala samostatně.

Abstract:

The target of this work was study and description of different examples of positional and non-positional systems and demonstration, how the arithmetic operation in individual systems including examples were executed. This work is targeted only on expression of natural numbers. In the introduction is listed the reason of origin of a special number systems and special one-system. Subsequently are described non-positional systems, since most of them are thing of the past. Then follows a description of systems occurring mostly nowadays, which are classified mainly into positional systems. For describing the system was drawn from the available literature mostly dedicated on the history and the most selection of examples and their solutions I developed separately.
