Anotace:

The goal of this thesis is to explore possible solutions for reconciliation between South Korea and Japan. The policy paper aims to examine the historical premises that overwhelm the relations, current developments and highlights importance of their closer cooperation. Based on the review of problems and paths to reconciliation past and present, the paper proposes recommendations inspired by bygone events with applicability to current state of the relations. Those solutions are subsequently evaluated and paper provides a final recommendation for their future relations.
