Abstract:

KRAJŇAK, Ľuboš: Security mechanisms for credit transactions. [Bachelor thesis]. Banking Institute of the University of Prague, Foreign University in Banská Bystrica. Department of Finance and Banking. Supervisor: Ing. Ján Lacek. The year of thesis defence: 2014. Number of pages: 63 The thesis deals with the use of security mechanisms for credit transactions made by the people and their real application in Slovak banking sector. The first theoretical part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical definition of the concept of banking. It discusses banking risks, their types and the process of risk management in commercial banks. It analyzes a credit risk, which is the most important and most common risk for commercial banks. The next chapter focuses on the various hedging mechanisms of credit transactions, the methods for their formation, performance and termination. The second practical part of the thesis analyzes the security mechanisms for credit transactions for the people in the Slovak banking sector. The third part of the thesis is devoted to the importance of using security mechanisms for the people in practice.

Katedra financií a bankovníctva. Vedúci práce: Ing. Ján Lacek. Rok obhajoby: 2014. Počet strán: 63 Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá využívaním zabezpečovacích mechanizmov pri úverových obchodoch pre obyvateľstvo a ich reálnom uplatnení v Slovenskom bankovom sektore. Prvá teoretická časť bakalárskej práce sa venujeme teoretickému vymedzeniu podstaty bankovníctva. Rozoberá bankové rizika, ich druhy a proces riadenia rizík v komerčných bankách. Ďalej rozoberá úverové riziko, ktoré je najvýznamnejšie a najčastejšie riziko pre komerčné banky. Ďalšia časť rozoberá jednotlivé zabezpečovacími mechanizmy úverových obchodov, ich spôsoby vzniku, výkonu a zániku. Druha praktická časť bakalárskej práce analyzuje zabezpečovacie mechanizmy pri úverových obchodoch pre obyvateľstvo v Slovenskom bankovom sektore. V tretej časti bakalárskej práce sa venujeme významu využitia zabezpečovacích mechanizmov pre obyvateľstvo v praxi.
