Abstract:

Na akademickej pôde bolo predstavených množstvo metód softvérového inžinierstva požiadaviek. Nie je však známe, ktoré techniky sú najužitočnejšie a nakoniec sa zaviedli aj do praxe. Táto práca preto skúma stav inžinierstva požiadaviek aplikovaného v softvérových firmách a ponúka poznatky o špecifických technikách, ktoré sú v nich uplatnené. Na dosiahnutie tohto cieľa sme vypracovali systematickú mapovú štúdiu techník inžinierstva požiadaviek, ktoré boli spomenuté vo vedeckých publikáciách prezentujúcich skúsenosti z praxe. Na základe výsledkov tejto štúdie sme následne vykonali kvalitatívny výskum vo forme rozhovorov so 14 produktovými manažérmi z 12 softvérových firiem. Výsledkom je rozsiahly zoznam techník inžinierstva požiadaviek identifikovaných v oboch častiach výskumu. Táto práca taktiež popisuje štyri prístupy k produktovému manažmentu, ktoré sme identifikovali počas kvalitatívneho výskumu na základe tematickej analýzy dát.

Abstract:

There is a plethora of requirements engineering methods that have been proposed in research, yet we do not know what the state in industry is, that is which techniques are the most adopted and useful. This work examines the state of requirements engineering in practice and provides insights about specific techniques applied. To address this issue, we conducted a systematic mapping study on requirements engineering techniques that are presented in articles reporting on industrial experiences. Based on the results of the mapping study, we further carried out qualitative research in the form of interviews with 14 product managers from 12 software companies to gather more detailed evidence. As a result, this thesis presents an extensive list of requirements engineering techniques identified in both settings. Furthermore, it describes four product management approaches discovered during the qualitative research by means of thematic analysis.
