Cinematic Storytelling in Comics

Abstract:
Cílem práce je poukázat na podobnost filmu a komiksu a z toho plynoucí možnost číst filmové studie (či analyzovat filmová díla) s přesahem do média komiksu. Zvolenou metodou je rozbor filmových postupů a výrazových prostředků a jejich následná aplikace na komiksové médium. K tomuto účelu slouží obrazová příloha, jejíž hlavní část tvoří první kapitola komiksu Strážci Alana Moora.

The aim of this work is to point out the similarity of film and comics and thus also the possibility to read some film studies (or analyse films) with an overlap into the medium of comics.
