Fluktuační asymetrie vybraných struktur monogeneí čeledi Diplozoidae v podmínkách enviromentálního stresu
Fluctuating asymmetry of diplozoid structures (Monogenea: Diplozoidae) under condition of environmetal stress
Abstract:
Fish ectoparasites are in direct contact with both its fish host and the water environment surrounding their hosts; therefore, both the host quality and water quality may influence parasite development and/or their morphology. In this study, the impact of environment on parasite was studied on the different level: (1) individual, gill parasite Paradiplozoon homoion (Diplozoidae, Monogenea), from the …moreAbstract:
ween the fish FA based on multiple traits and number of P. homoion or proportion of P. homoion with abnormalities. However, a significant relationship between number of the abnormal P. homoion and number of asymmetric meristic traits per individual fish was recorded. Therefore, this result indicates that developmental instability of P. homoion, measured as morphological abnormality of the attachment …moreKeywords
