Mechanical Properties of Painted Surface

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá výzkumem mechanických vlastností lakovaných povrchů polymerů zejména polykarbonátů. V teoretické části jsou popsány metody, které se pro používají pro určení tvrdosti a mikrotvrdosti. Z větší části bude popsána instrumentovaná zkouška tvrdosti DSI a zejména její parametry. V praktické části byly provedeny experimentální zkoušky mikrotvrdosti povlakovaných povrchů u polykarbonátů a to Makrolonu a Lexanu. Pro měření a zkoumání vlastností byla využita metoda Instrumentované zkoušky tvrdosti DSI (Depth Sensing Indentation), pomocí které můžeme získat parametry jako je vtisková tvrdost, vtiskový modul, vtiskové tečení a deformační práci při vtisku indentoru.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis is focused on research of mechanical properties of lacquered polymer surfaces especially of polycarbonate. Theoretical part describes methods used for determination of hardness and micro-hardness and its large part will describes the Depth Sensing Indentation and especially its parameters. In practical part the experimental tests micro-hardness of coated polycarbonate surfaces, namely Macrolon and Lexan were executed. The Depth Sensing Indentation method was used for measurement and observation of properties. By using the DSI could be acquired parameters such as indentation hardness, indentation module, flow indentation and deformational work of indenter indentation.
