Comparison Czech republic and Austria in Terms of Implementation of the Tourism Satellite Accounts at National and Regional Levels

Abstract:

Tématem mé diplomové práce je Komparace České republiky a Rakouska z hlediska implementace Satelitního účtu cestovního ruchu na národní a regionální úrovni. Satelitní účet cestovního ruchu je komplexní statistický nástroj, měřící vliv cestovního ruchu na ekonomiku. Tento satelitní účet na národní úrovni má vytvořeno všech 27 zemí Evropské unie. Pouze několik států má rozpracovaný satelitní účet cestovního ruchu i na regionální úrovni. Mezi země, které uspěly při tvorbě regionálního TSA patří např. Španělsko, Rakousko, Finsko nebo Norsko. V této práci se snažím podrobněji charakterizovat TSA České republiky a Rakouska a na základě zjištěných informací se zabývám jejich vzájemnou komparací. Ze srovnávání těchto dvou zemí je zřejmé, že Rakousko má lépe rozpracovaný TSA na regionální úrovni a naopak Česká republika je úspěšnější s téměř plnohodnotným TSA na národní úrovni. Z toho vyplývá skutečnost, že se zde objevuje spousta problémů při tvoření jak národních, tak i regionálních satelitních účtů. V současnosti neexistuje žádná metodika ke zhotovení R - TSA, a proto řada zemí konzultuje s odborníky v tomto oboru pokročilejšími.

Abstract:

The topic of my thesis is the Comparison Czech republic and Austria in Terms of Implementation of the Tourism Satellite Accounts at National and Regional Levels. Tourism Satellite Account is a complex statistical tool measuring the impact of tourism on the economy. This Satellite account to the national level has been created by all 27 European Union countries. Only a few states have succeeded in creating a regional TSA include Spain, Austria, Finland or Norway. In this work, we try to further characterize the TSA Czech republic and Austria on the basis of the information gathered to deal with their comparison. From the comparison of these two countries, Austria has clearly a better developer TSA at the regional level and vice versa Czech republic is successful with almost full TSA at the national level. This implies that there are plenty of problems in the formation of both national and regional Satellite accounts. There is currently no method for producing R - TSA so, many contries consult with experts in this field who are already advanced.
