Language Characteristics of Texts about Natural Disasters in Current Russian and Czech Press

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Jazyková charakteristika textů o přírodních katastrofách v současné ruské a české publicistice se zabývá lexikálně-morfologickou analýzou zkoumaných textů. Práce se skládá ze dvou částí - teoretické a praktické. V první části jsou popsány jednotlivé druhy přírodních katastrof, příčiny jejich vzniku, jejich průběh a účinky. V druhé části jsou nejprve charakterizovány základní rysy publicistického stylu, poté jsou ruské a české texty porovnávány z hlediska použití slovních druhů. V závěru jsou shrnuty rozdíly mezi českými a ruskými texty, které je třeba zohlednit při jejich překladu. Kromě toho je k práci přiložen také rusko-český slovníček na téma Přírodní katastrofy, sestavený na základě zkoumaného materiálu

Abstract:

Bachelor´s thesis Language Characteristics of Texts about Natural Disasters in Current Russian and Czech Press deals with the lexical and morphological analysis of examined texts. The thesis consists of two parts - theoretical and practical. The first part describes the different types of natural disasters, the causes of their origin, their process and effects. In the second part, at first, the basic features of journalistic style are characterized, then the Russian and Czech texts are compared from the point of view of using of the word classes. In conclusion, the differences between Czech and Russian texts, which must be taken into account in their translation, are summarized. In addition, Russian-Czech glossary on the topic Natural Disasters, compiled on the basis of the examined material, is enclosed to the thesis
