Economic aspects of early warning information system in case of selected traffic situations

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá informačním systémem včasného varování v případě vybraných dopravních situací, konkrétně pak jeho využitím při prevenci řetězových nehod. Na základě porovnání současně využívaných prostředků varování a v práci uvedených alternativ získáme informace pro ekonomické srovnání těchto systémů. V práci bude nejprve shrnuta současná situace aplikace varovných systémů na silničních komunikacích v České republice, jak fungují či nefungují prvky zajišťující bezpečnost v dopravě, dále budou uvedeny a podrobněji popsány jiné, efektivnější a spolehlivější možnosti včasného varování, které budou následně podrobeny ekonomické analýze, jestli jsou skutečně efektivnější i po finanční stránce a nakonec v práci budou uvedeny návrhy, jakým směrem by se systém včasného varování mohl ubírat, tedy jaký by mohl být jeho budoucí rozvoj.

Abstract:

This master thesis deals with an early warning information system in cases of selected traffic situations, especially its use to prevent chain accidents. Based on the comparison of currently used warning tools and the alternatives described in the thesis, we compare these systems economically. First in the thesis, the current situation of warning systems on the roads of Czech Republic will be summarized, how well the traffic security components work. Further, other more efficient and reliable options of early warning will be introduced and described, which will be then a subject of an economic analysis, whether or not they are more efficient from the financial aspect. In the final part of the thesis, the new ways of future development of early warning systems are proposed.
