This bachelor’s thesis focuses on exploring CRISPR/Cas9 method and its vast applications in the field of genetic engineering. Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce je zmapovat problematiku mutagenézy pomocou metódy CRISPR/Cas9 a jej možných uplatnení v oblasti génového inžinierstva. Jednoduchosť, presnosť a flexibilita tejto metódy spočíva vo využití proteínu Cas9 k tvorbe dvojvláknových zlomov na cieľovej molekule DNA.
