Anotácia:

Human Pose Estimation je technika, ktorá extrahuje 2D/3D súradnice kľúčových častí ľudského tela z obrázkov alebo videí bez potreby zložitých systémov viacerých kamier alebo značiek. Táto technika sa stáva populárnou v rôznych oblastiach vrátane fitnes a rehabilitácie. Jedným z projektov využívajúcich túto techniku je VisioTherapy, ktorý vyvíja softvér na sledovanie pohybu respondentov počas cvičenia alebo rehabilitácie a následne vyhodnocuje presnosť pohybu. Techniky Human Pose Estimation však nie sú bezchybné, a získané údaje často obsahujú chyby. Cieľom tejto práce je preskúmať možnosti detekcie a opravy týchto chýb. Najprv identifikujeme typy chýb a potom analyzujeme možnosti ich detekcie a opravy. Potom vykonáme preskúmanie existujúcich metód na detekciu a opravu chýb v časových radoch, pričom berieme do úvahy dávkové aj prúdové spracovanie údajov. Nakoniec implementujeme navrhované metódy, experimentálne ich vyhodnotíme a pokúsime sa nájsť najvhodnejšie riešenia pre prúdové aj dávkové spracovanie.

Abstract:

Human pose estimation is a technique that extracts 2D/3D coordinates of key parts of the human body from images or videos without the need for complex multi-camera systems or markers. This technique is becoming popular in a variety of fields, including fitness and rehabilitation. One project using this technique is VisioTherapy, which is developing software to track the movement of responders during exercise or rehabilitation and then evaluate the accuracy of the movement performed. However, human position estimation techniques are not flawless, and often, the extracted data contains errors. The aim of this thesis is to investigate the possibilities of detecting and correcting these errors. We first identify the types of errors and then analyze the possibilities of their detection and correction. Then, we perform an investigation of existing methods for error detection and correction in time series, considering both batch and stream processing of motion data. We implement the proposed methods, evaluate them experimentally, and try to find the most suitable solutions for both stream and batch processing.
