Our thesis summarizes theoretical knowledges from history of mountainbiking in world as in the Czech Republic. It brings division of MTB disciplines according to UCI (International Cycling Federation). It deals with newest trends in maintenance, safety, technique and methodics of training and improving the technique skills on MTB.
