Adventure Therapy in the Terapeutic Community Fénix

Abstract:

Tato závěrečná práce se zabývá tématem terapie dobrodružstvím v terapeutické komunitě Fénix v Bílé Vodě. Diplomová práce obsahuje teoretickou a praktickou část. První kapitola nám na základě odborné literatury vymezuje pojem terapeutické komunity, její cíle, prvky, principy a techniky práce. Zabývá se také vymezením závislosti a jejích znaků. Část kapitoly se také věnuje terapeutické komunitě Fénix a jejím specifikům. Druhá kapitola se zabývá terapeutickým pracovníkem. Vymezuje nám nároky nejen na jednotlivce, ale i terapeutický tým, jehož vlastnosti jsou podstatné. Poslední kapitola se zabývá jak samotnou terapií dobrodružstvím, tak i pojmy s ní spojenými, jako je dobrodružství nebo prožitek. Tato kapitola se také zmiňuje o výzkumech terapie dobrodružstvím, které proběhly na území ČR či v zahraničí. Cílem praktické části této práce je na základě analýzy rozhovorů s terapeuty terapeutické komunity Fénix zjistit a vymezit, co pro pracovníky znamená terapie dobrodružstvím, co od ní očekávají a jakou s ní mají zkušenost. Praktická část nám vymezuje výzkumný problém, cíl výzkumu a definuje výzkumné otázky. Zabývá se také terapeuty terapeutické komunity Fénix a vymezuje použitou metodologii. Poslední kapitola obsahuje výsledky rozhovorů. Samotný závěr pak shrnuje dosažené výsledky a sděluje nám limity proběhlého výzkumu.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the theme of adventure therapy in the therapeutic community Fénix in Bílá Voda. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The first chapter defines the concept of the therapeutic community, it´s aims, elements, principles and the techniques of work based on specialised literature. It also deals with the definition of addiction and its characteristics. Moreover, one part of the chapter is dedicated to the therapeutic community Fénix and its specifics. The second chapter deals with the therapeutic worker. It specifies the demands on the individuals, as well as the therapeutic team, whose qualities are essential. The last chapter is devoted to both the adventure therapy and concepts associated with it. In the last chapter the adventure therapy research that took place either in the Czech Republic or abroad is also mentioned. The aim of the practical part of this thesis is to ascertain and specify the importance of the adventure therapy to workers, their expectations and previous experience with it, based on the analysis of the interviews with the therapists of the therapeutic community Fénix. Not only does the practical part define a research problem, but it also specifies the aim of the research together with research questions. It also deals with the therapists of the Fénix therapeutic community and specifies the used methodology. The results of the interviews are contained in the last chapter. The conclusion then summarizes all the achieved results and informs of the research´s limits.
