Teacher's authority from students' perspective

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Autorita učitele z pohledu žáků“ pojednává o problematice autority ve školním prostředí. První část mé práce je zaměřena na ucelenější pohled na tuto problematiku ve spojitosti s výchovným působením učitele, kázní a pozorností žáků při vyučování, vlastnostmi a dovednostmi učitele, vzájemným vztahem učitel-žák a školním prostředím. V teoretické části se snažím prezentovat výsledky svého výzkumu, který byl realizován pomocí dotazníkového šetření a zaměřen na skutečné i požadované vlastnosti učitele a jeho charakteristiky, na subjektivní pohled žáků, jak podle nich učitel nejlépe autority ve třídě docílí, jak získá pozornost žáků, co vidí za narušováním učitelovy autority a pozornosti žáků a co si představují pod různými pojmy souvisejícími s autoritou.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis „Teacher´s authority from students´ perspective“ deals with a problem of authority in the school environment. First part of my work is focused on a global perspective on this issue in connection with educational influence of a teacher, discipline and attention of learners during tuition, qualities and acquirements of the teacher, mutual relationship between the teacher and learner and school environment. In the theoretical part I present results of my research which was realized through questionnaires and focused on existing and expected qualities of a teacher and her/his characteristics, learners´ point of view related to the way they believed a teacher can achieve authority and their attention, what they find disturbing in relation to the teacher´s authority and their attention and what do they understand when various terms connected with authority are stated.
