Occupational Therapy procedures in the postoperative and following period for pacients with Dupuytren's contracture

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou ergoterapeutické pooperační péče u pacientů s Dupuytrenovou kontrakturou. Cílem je seznámit čtenáře s nejnovějšími poznatky léčby, popsat a shrnout ergoterapeutické postupy a možnosti u pacientů s Dupuytrenovou kontrakturou, zhodnotit význam ergoterapeutické péče a porovnat vývoj úchopových, obratnostních a manipulačních dovedností ruky v jednotlivých časových fázích. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí, teoretická část obsahuje kapitoly o charakteristice Dupuytrenovy kontraktury a možnostech léčby, specifikuje jednotlivá rehabilitační období po operaci a popisuje možnosti ergoterapeutických postupů. Praktická část obsahuje zpracování dvou kazuistik pacientů s popisem způsobu testování vývoje funkcí ruky a s popisem ergoterapeutické intervence u těchto konkrétních případů.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with occupational therapy postoperative care for patients with Dupuytren's contracture. The aim of this thesis is to acquaint readers with the latest findings of treatment, describe and summarize the occupational therapy procedures along with the possibilites of patients with Dupuytren's contracture. It also evaluates the importance of occupational therapy care in the postoperative and follow-up phase and compares the hand development of grip, dexterity and manipulation skills, in individual time stages . The work is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains chapters on the characteristics of Dupuytren's contracture and its treatment options, it specifies the individual rehabilitation phases after surgery and describes the possibilities of occupational therapy procedures. The practical part includes processing of two case reports with a description of the testing method development and function of the hand with a description of the occupational therapy intervention for these specific cases.
