The History of Informal Adult Education in the Town of Uherské Hradiště

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá spolkovou aktivitu zaměřenou na neformální edukaci dospělých ve městě Uherské Hradiště v období od zrušení jezuitského řádu do pádu Rakousko-Uherské monarchie. V teoretické části se práce zabývá historickým kontextem spolkových aktivit a definuje tři tradice, o které se spolkové aktivity v Uherském Hradišti opíraly. Zvláštní pozornost se věnuje "osvětě" jako specifické formě neformálního vzdělávání. V praktické části se formou analýzy dobových dokumentů dokládá obsah edukačních spolkových aktivit. Spolky zabývající si se vzdělávacími aktivitami jsou zařazeny do celkového spolkového obrazu Uherského Hradiště.

Abstract:

This thesis examines public clubs activities focusing on informal adult education in the town of Uherské Hradiště in the period from the fall of Jesuit Order until the fall of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy. The thesis deals with the historical context of activities of public clubs in the theoretical part and defines three traditions that the federal activities in Uherské Hradiště were based on. The concept of "enlightenment" as a kind of informal education is focused on especially. The thesis proves contents of public clubs educational activities by analyzing historical documents in the practical part. Clubs involved in the educational activities are included into general activities of all clubs in Uherské Hradiště.
