Land Registry

Abstract:

Katastr nemovitostí České republiky představuje soupis, popis a geometrické a polohové určení vybraných nemovitostí na území státu a jeho součástí je evidence vlastnických a jiných věcných práv a dalších zákonem stanovených práv k těmto nemovitostem. Tento ucelený, průběžně aktualizovaný, počítačově ovládaný informační systém o pozemcích, vybraných stavbách a o vybraných bytech a nebytových prostorech tvoří jeden ze základních systémů veřejné správy v České republice.

Abstract:

A land registry is integrated, continuously updated information system about parcels, buildings and about legal relationships related to them. Natural persons and fictitious persons are meeting with it for example in a building control, in context of territorial development, in context of protection of environment, agriculture land resources or forest resources, at assessing of realty, at tax assessment, when restitutions of realty are solved, at a landed layouts and when the property right, other rights in rem or other rights provided by law to real property are solved-it means when the real property is purchased, sold, donated or when a real burden or a right of lien is established to a real property, in a inheritance procedure etc. A lot of people are engaged in a land registry in their professional activity especially employees of state organs-financial, building and land offices, state administration of woods, office of protection of environment, registrars, lawyers, authorized experts, estate agency etc. The land registry performs very important function by a resolution about the property right and other rights in rem to real property. These rights form by contribution to the land of registry on the basis of a legitimate resolution of Land Register Offices. The whole system of the land registry contributes to consolidation of position Czech republic as a legally consistent state and to consolidation of legal certainty its citizens.
