Diabetes mellitus 3.typu, známý jako diabetes spojený s Alzheimerovou chorobou, je koncept, který propojuje neurodegenerativní onemocnění s metabolickými poruchami asociovanými s cukrovkou. Přestože se doposud nejedná o oficiálně uznávanou diagnózu, existuje mezi oběma chorobami řada sdílených patologických mechanismů, což může být důležité z hlediska léčby a prevence Alzheimerovy choroby. Abstract:
Diabetes mellitus type 3, known as diabetes associated with Alzheimer's disease, is a concept that links neurodegenerative diseases with metabolic disorders associated with diabetes. Although it is not yet an officially recognized diagnosis, there are many shared pathological mechanisms between the two diseases, which may be important for the treatment and prevention of Alzheimer's disease.
