The perception of beauty with a close relationship of teeth whitening

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem krásy, úsměvem a metodou bělení zubů, která je v současné době velmi využívanou za účelem vylepšit svůj zevnějšek. Na problematiku je nahlíženo z hlediska vnímání krásy, z pohledu historie, současných spisovatelů a zejména respondentů, kteří se rozhodli podstoupit bělení zubů. V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá i legislativou, která upravuje volný prodej bělících přípravků. Teorie v této práce je doplněna zjištěnými fakty na základě výzkumu, který probíhal formou rozhovorů s respondenty. Cílem práce je zjistit jejich pohled na krásu a důvody k podstoupení bělení zubů.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of beauty, smile, and the method of teeth whitening which is nowadays applied quite widely in order to improve ones appearance. The problematics is analysed from various aspects; the perception of beauty, the historical aspect, the perspective of contemporary authors, and mainly the aspect of respondents who have decided to undergo teeth whitening. The text also aims at the legislation which regulates free sale of whitening products. The theory in this work is complemented with data collected in a research based on interviews with the respondents. The objective of the thesis is to ascertain their attitude to beauty and the reasons for undergoing teeth whitening.
