Ecology of the longhorn beetle Aegosoma scabricorne (Scopoli, 1763) (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in the southern Moravia

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá biotopovými nároky tesaříka drsnorohého (Aegosoma scabricorne (Scopoli, 1763)) na území Břeclavska. V průběhu vegetační sezóny 2015 byly systematicky prozkoumány vytipované lokality na Břeclavsku a na těchto lokalitách zaznamenány stromy s výskytem tesaříka drsnorohého. Celkem bylo vzorkováno 174 stromů, přičemž stromů s výskytem tesaříka drsnorohého bylo nalezeno 87. Na jednotlivých stromech s výskytem tohoto taxonu byl kvantifikován celkový počet výletových otvorů. Celkem bylo nalezeno 1066 výletových otvorů tesaříka drsnorohého. Dále byly na těchto stromech zaznamenány základní charakteristiky jako druh dřeviny, obvod kmene, vitalita stromu, oslunění a dále také přítomnost zlomu, stromové dutiny, lysiny a plodnic hub. Tesařík drsnorohý nejčastěji osidloval stromy, které jsou poškozené a mají sníženou vitalitu. Dále byl výskyt výletových otvorů tesaříka drsnorohého častěji zaznamenán na stromech se zlomem a na stromech s dutinou. Tesařík drsnorohý ve větší míře osidloval stromy s větším průměrem kmene. Z hlediska preference míry oslunění kmene zde nebyl prokázán statisticky významný vztah.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with habitat requirements of the longhorn beetle Aegosoma scabricorne (Scopoli, 1763) in the southern Moravia. During the growing season 2015 were systematically researched the selected locations in the southern Moravia and in these localities were reported trees with occurence of this beetle. Altogether were sampled 174 trees. The occruence of A. scabricorne has been proven on 87 trees. On these trees was quantified a total number of exit holes. A total number of exit holes of A. scabricorne was 1066. Next there were recorded basic characteristics of the tree too, like type of tree, trunk circumference, tree vitality, exposure to sun and other damage of the tree. The most the longhorn beetle A. scabricorne occupied damaged trees with reduced vitality. Next the higher presence of A. scabricorne was proven on trees with breakage and with hollow. The longhorn beetle often occupied trees with larger diameter. In terms of preference exposure to sun was not proven the significant dependence here.
