Abstract:

Předmětem zkoumání této bakalářské práce je identifikovat hodnotu dopadu na vzájemný obchod mezi Českou republikou a Spojeným královstvím Velké Británie a Severního Irska po odhlasování vystoupení UK z Evropské unie. Teoretická část nejdříve popisuje specifika zahraničního obchodu a následně popisuje historii členství Spojeného království v Evropské unii. Výstupy výzkumu v praktické části práce vychází z analýzy sekundárních empirických dat s prvky longitudinálního výzkumu. Získaná data pochází převážně z databáze Českého statistického úřadu a zpráv společnostní vyvážející na britský trh. Poslední kapitola práce také shrnuje případné investiční příležitosti pro české exportéry na území Spojeného království po jeho úplném odtržení se od jednotného unijního trhu.

Abstract:

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to identify the value of the impact on mutual foreign trade between the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland after the UK voted to leave the European Union. The theoretical part of this work first describes the specifics of foreign trade and describes the history of the UK's membership in the European Union. The research findings in the practical part of this thesis are based on the analysis of secondary empirical data with elements of longitudinal research. The obtained data come mainly from the database of the Czech Statistical Office and reports of Czech companies exporting goods to the UK market. The last chapter of this thesis also summarises possible investment opportunities for Czech exporters in the UK after its complete separation from the European single market.
