Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je návrh a implementace rozšíření současné funkcionality importu nástroje pro správu testování TestLink. Toto rozšíření zjednoduší vytváření a správu testovacích sad a případů pomocí tohoto nástroje. Skládá se ze šablony testovacích sad a případů a pluginu pro nástroj TestLink napsaném v jazyce PHP. Rozšíření umožní test designerům vyplnit data testovacích sad a případů do šablony, kterou lze následně jednoduše převést do formátu kompatibilního se stávající funkcionalitou importu testovacích sad a případů nástroje TestLink.Teoretická část se zaměřuje na problematiku testování softwaru obecně a následně se podrobněji věnuje nástroji pro správu testování TestLink a jeho funkcionalitě importu a exportu.Praktická část práce se věnuje procesu návrhu a implementace rozšíření funkcionality importu testovacích sad a případů nástroje TestLink.Uživatelská příručka provází uživatele instalací a prací s rozšířením. Řešitelská příručka detailněji popisuje proces implementace rozšíření a způsob, jakým lze vytvořit nové rozšíření pro nástroj TestLink. Praktická část je vypracována ve spolupráci s panem Ing. Veselkou ze společnosti Tesena, s.r.o.

Abstract:

The goal of this thesis is to design and to implement an extension of current import functionality of test management tool TestLink. This extension allows for easier creation and management of test suites and test cases. The extension consists of a template of test suites and test cases and a plugin for TestLink written in PHP. The extension enables test designers to input test suites and test cases into the template which can be subsequently easily converted into a format that is compatible with TestLinks' current import functionality of test suites and test cases.The theory section of the thesis focuses on software testing in general, following with a detailed look on test management tool TestLink.The practical section describes the process of implementation of the extension while user's guide presents the extension's installation and its usage.Developer's guide focuses in detail on the implementation process while illustrating the process of creating a new plugin for TestLink. The practical section has been written in a collaboration with Mr. Veselka of Tesena, s.r.o.
