Abstract:
Práce je věnována neurodegenerativní chorobě, spinální muskulární atrofii. Zabývá se geny SMN1 a SMN2 a jejich genetickými mutacemi, které jsou za toto onemocnění zodpovědné. Zahrnuje význam vyšetření těchto genů u dárců gamet, diagnostiku, typy a možnosti léčby spinální muskulární atrofie.
Abstract:
The work is devoted to neurodegenerative disease, spinal muscular atrophy. It deals with the SMN1 and SMN2 genes and their genetic mutations which are responsible for this disease. It includes the importance of testing these genes for gamet donors, diagnosis, types and treatment options of spinal muscular atrophy.
