Tato diplomová práce se zabývá mediaci jako způsobu vypořádání se s narůstajícími konflikty v současné tzv. postmoderní společnosti. This thesis deals with mediation as a way of coping with the increasing conflicts in the contemporary postmodern society. The work reflects the advantages and disadvantages of mediation. It monitors mediation in various areas of law, regards the mediator and introduces a brief excursion into the statutory regulation.
