St. Petersburg's architecture in the context of history and mystery
Abstract:
Diplomová práce pojednává o fenoménu nadpřirozených sil, resp. bytostí, v návaznosti na architekturu Sankt-Petěrburgu. Mysticismus města je vykládán s příklonem k slovanské mytologii a lidové ústní slovesnosti. Práce se zabývá pouze takovými jevy a bytostmi, jenž jsou doloženy písemnými prameny a jsou všeobecně známé.
Abstract:
The thesis discusses the phenomenon of supernatural power or beings in relation to the architecture of St. Petersburg. Mysticism of the city is interpreted with an inclination to Slavonic mythology and folklore. The thesis deals only with those phenomenons that are documented by written sources and are popularly known.
