Technique and methodology of riding a unicycle

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce je vypracování multimediální učebnice, která je textově rozebrána v druhé polovině práce. Bakalářská práce zachycuje historický vývoj jednokolky. Vysvětluje princip fungování jednokolky a seznamuje čtenáře s jejími komponenty. Obsahuje stručný výčet společností, které se vývojem a výrobou tohoto dopravního prostředku zabývají. Autor bakalářské práce dále představuje Mezinárodní jednokolkařskou federaci, charakterizuje základní disciplíny, ve kterých se konají světové šampionáty, a stručně popisuje jejich pravidla. Cílem autora je oslovit širší veřejnost a vzbudit v nich zájem o tento netradiční dopravní prostředek.

Abstract:

The main goal of this bachelor's thesis is working out a multimedia coursebook which is textually analysed in the second half of the work. The bachelor's thesis captures the historical development of unicycle. It explains the principle by means of which the unicycle works and it also acquaints readers with its components. The bachelor's thesis incorporates a brief listing of companies that are concerned with both the development of this means of transport and its making. In addition, the author of the bachelor's thesis introduces the International Unicycle Federation, characterises the basic disciplines in which world championships are held, and he describes their rules briefly. The goal of the author is to address wider public and get them interested in this untraditional means of transport.
