Cycling transportation in area of Přerov city

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou cyklistické dopravy na území města Přerova. Cílem práce je teoretické zhodnocení cyklodopravy z hlediska řešení cyklistické dopravy ve městech a zhodnocení cyklistické dopravy na území města Přerova v návaznosti na dojížďku z okolních obcí. V první části se práce zabývá cyklodopravou v obecné rovině. Je zde vysvětleno vymezení v rámci geografie dopravy, je zde zmíněna základní typologie cyklistické infrastruktury, nebo faktory, které nějakým způsobem cyklodopravu ovlivňují. V další kapitole se práce soustředí na situaci v České Republice a seznamuje s důležitým dokumentem ?Cyklostrategie?. Zbývající části se zabývají zejména městem Přerov. Obsahují stručnou charakteristiku zkoumaného území s popisem dopravní situace. Dále popisují stav cyklistické infrastruktury na území města a seznamují s aktéry, kteří se na cyklodopravě podílejí. Poslední kapitola se věnuje vlastnímu výzkumu. Ten je proveden prostřednictvím terénního šetření. Předmětem výzkumu bylo sčítání cyklistů na předem zvolených dopravních uzlech, v určených časech. Cílem výzkumu bylo zjistit hlavní přepravní proudy a využití cyklistické infrastruktury. Výsledky jsou pak interpretovány slovně i graficky.

Abstract:

The work deals with the issue of cycling in the area of Přerov city. The aim of this work is theoretical evaluation of cycling in the context of cycling infrastructure in cities and evaluation of cycling of Přerov in connection with commuting from surrounding villages. The first part deals with bicycle transport in general terms. It explains the definition in the context of transport geography; there is mentioned basic typology of cycling infrastructure, or the factors that influence cycling in some way. In the next chapter, the work focuses on the situation in the Czech Republic and introduces important document "Cycling strategy?. The remaining parts are focused particularly on the situation in city of Přerov. They contain brief characteristics of the studied area with the description of the traffic situation. Also they describe the state of cycling infrastructure in the city and acquaint with the actors who are participating in cycling transportation. The last chapter deals with research, which is carried out through field survey. The object of the research was counting cyclists at pre-selected traffic nodes, at designated times. The aim of the research was to determine the major traffic flows and the use of bicycle infrastructure. The results are then interpreted both verbally and graphically.
