Cílem této diplomové práce je analyzovat právní postavení žen v římské společnosti v určitých oblastech, zejména v právu rodinném. Jednotlivé instituty a životní situace pak budou popsány z hlediska jejich vývoje v průběhu času. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the legal status of women in the Roman society in certain spheres, especially in the family law. Individual institutes and life situations will then be described in terms of their development in course of time.
