This thesis deals with the analysis of the essay of Toshio Tamogami, the chief of staff of Air Self-Defense Forces. The content of Tamogami’s essay was highly controversial and provoked a debate on Japanese political and public scene. Táto práca sa zaoberá analýzou eseje Tošia Tamogamiho, veliaceho dôstojníka Vzdušných sebaobranných síl. Tamogamiho esej svojím obsahom vzbudila značnú kontroverziu a rozvírila japonskú politickú i verejnú debatu.
