V předložené bakalářská práci se věnujeme pojetí moci v Machiavelliho dílech Vladař a Rozpravy o prvních deseti knihách Tita Livia. V úvodu se zabýváme Machiavelliho životem v dějinných souvislostech, poté současným pohledem na Machiavelliho jakožto politického filosofa. In presented thesis, we will focus on the conception of power in the Machiavelli?s works The Prince and The Discourses on Livy. Firstly, we will focus on Machiavelli?s life in historical context. Further will my work aim on contemporary position of Machiavelli as a political philosopher.
