Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "The Waste Policy in the United Kingdom" explains the waste management of the United Kingdom, describing the generation of waste, specific ways of waste disposal used by the UK government and the waste prevention in the UK. The thesis further analyses the waste legislation and regulations introduced by the UK government and also by separate countries and analyses the differences in legislation between the countries of the United Kingdom. The thesis focuses on the United Kingdom in general at first and later the focus is on households. The practical part of the thesis is based on a questionnaire concerning the general knowledge of public and their approaches towards the waste policy and environment.

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce "Odpadová politika Spojeného Království" vysvětluje odpadový management Spojeného Království, kde je popsána generace odpadu, specifické způsoby nakládání s odpadem a prevence odpadu užívané vládou Spojeného Království. Práce dále zkoumá odpadovou legislativu a regulace zavedeny vládou Spojeného Království a také jednotlivých zemí, kde jsou rozebrány rozdíly v legislativě mezi zeměmi Spojeného Království. Práce se první zabývá Spojeným Královstvím obecně a později je práce zaměřená na domácnosti. Praktická část práce je založena na dotazníku zkoumající všeobecné znalosti odpadové politiky veřejnosti a jejich názoru na tuto problematiku a životní prostředí.
