The influence of Rehabilitation on the Overall Development and Health of Individual with Cerebral Palsy

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá působením rehabilitační péče na rozvoj a zdravotní stav jedince s mozkovou obrnou. Skládá se ze tří kapitol. První, teoretická kapitola vymezuje mozkovou obrnu, objasňuje příčiny vzniku onemocnění, charakterizuje jednotlivé formy mozkové obrny a také vymezuje přidružená postižení u mozkové obrny. Druhá, teoretická kapitola se zabývá rehabilitační péčí a možnostmi vzdělávání. V jednotlivých podkapitolách autorka popisuje koncept ucelené rehabilitace, léčebné prostředky rehabilitace u mozkové obrny, význam rehabilitace a v závěru kapitoly se zabývá možnostmi vzdělávání jedinců s tělesným postižením. Třetí, výzkumná kapitola obsahuje charakteristiku výzkumu, stanovení cílů a použitou metodologii, charakteristiku výzkumného prostředí a výzkumného vzorku, dvě podrobně zpracované případové studie a závěry výzkumného šetření. Bakalářská práce je zpracována formou kvalitativního výzkumu s použitím těchto metod: participační pozorování, hloubkový rozhovor a případová studie.

Abstract:

The presented bachelor's thesis deals with the impacts of rehabilitation care on the development and the state of health of an individual suffering from the cerebral palsy. It consists of three chapters. The first, theoretical chapter delimits what the cerebral palsy is, clarifies the causes of the disease, characterizes the particular forms of the cerebral palsy and also delimits associated disabilities of this illness. The second theoretical chapter deals with the rehabilitation care and the possibilities of education. In the component subchapters, the author of the thesis describes a concept of a comprehensive rehabilitation and subsequently she looks into the possibilities of education of individuals suffering from physical disability. The third, research chapter contains the characterization of the research, the determination of the aims and the used methodology, the characteristic of the research environment and the research sample, two elaborated case studies and the conclusions of the research investigation. This bachelor's thesis is made in a form of a qualitative survey, using the following methods: a participatory observation, an in-depth interview, and a case study.
