The process of handover a family business in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce řeší otázku procesu předávání rodinného podniku v ČR. V první částí se zabývá teoretickými poznatky na téma rodinných podniků se zaměřením na problematiku následnictví. Dále pak zmiňuje vývoj podnikaní v ČR zejména s ohledem na vývoj ve 20. století a rozvoj podnikání po roce 1989 se všemi jeho specifiky. V praktické části je metodou akčního výzkumu řešen proces předávání reálné rodinné firmy. Cílem práce je formulace rad a konkrétních doporučení pro zvýšení pravděpodobnosti úspěšného předání rodinného podniku v českém kontextu.

Abstract:

Master Thesis solves the question of handover of a family business in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part describes the knowledge of this topic focusing on handover and succession. It also contains the specifics and development of the Family business in the Czech Republic, especially with regard to the situation in the 20th century and the development of entrepreneurship after the year 1989. In the practical part, the method of action research solves the process of handing over a real family business The aim of the thesis is to provide concrete advice and recommendation due to increase the probability of the successful handover of the family business in the Czech context.
