Gait in patients with knee osteoarthritis

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je popsat rozdíly v chůzi u osob s gonartrózou v porovnání s chůzí zdravých jedinců. Teoretická část práce se zabývá popisem fyziologické chůze, jejich fází, možnostmi analýzy chůze a kinematiky kloubů v krokovém cyklu. Dále je v teoretické části popsána gonartróza, možnosti její léčby, rehabilitace těchto pacientů, specifika gonartrotické chůze a její odlišnosti od chůze normální. Cílem speciální části je vyšetřit pacienta s gonartrózou a výsledky vyšetření porovnat s teoretickými poznatky.

Abstract:

The aim of this Bachelor's thesis is to describe differences in gait between people with knee osteoarthritis and healthy people. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the description of physiological gait, phases of the gait cycle, possibilities of the gait analysis and the kinematics of joints during the gait cycle. Furthermore the theoretical part describes knee osteoarthritis, possibilities of treatment, rehabilitation of these patients, specifics of the osteoartritic gait and the differences between their gait and normal gait. The aim of the special part is to examine a patient with knee osteoarthritis and compare the results of the examination with the theoretical knowledge.
