Virtues and Vices

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je členěna do tří částí ? teoretické, praktické a didaktické. V první části je nastíněn pohled na jednotlivé ctnosti a neřesti z pohledu křesťanského podle Bible a Katechismu katolické církve a také z pohledu a pojetí Matyášem Bernardem Braunem. Jednotlivě nahlíží na obsah i formu soch ctností i neřestí, doplněn o historický kontext baroka a barokní plastiky, vznik a historii Kuksu, kde jsou sochy umístěny. Dále je kapitola doplněna o základní rysy konstruktivismu, minimalismu a symbolickou řeč barev, neboť vše úzce souvisí s mým pojetím tématu diplomové práce. Praktická část obsahuje soubor 14 prací a přibližuje celý tvůrčí proces. Zabývá se inspirací a tématem, technickými aspekty, postupem realizace a věnuje se jejich stručnému popisu. Didaktická část je závěrečnou kapitolou. Prověřuje oborově ? aplikační schopnosti získané během studia. Zahrnuje výtvarný projekt ?Kdo jsem?? a námět odučený v průběhu souvislé pedagogické praxe ? příprava jeho realizace s přílohami prezentovaných umělců, průběh tvůrčí činnosti studentů.

Abstract:

The thesis is divided into three parts - theoretical, practical and didactic. The first part outlines the sight of individual virtues and vices from the Christian point of view in compliance with the Bible and the Catechism of the Catholic Church and also from the perspective and the concept of Matthias Bernard Braun. It deals individually with the content and form of statues of virtues and vices, followed by the historical context of the Baroque and Baroque sculptures, origin and history of Kuks - where the statues are located. The next chapter is about the basic features of constructivism, minimalism, and the symbolic language of colours. This all is closely related to the concept of my thesis topic. The second - practical part includes a set of 14 works to take a closer look at the whole creative process. It deals with the inspiration and the theme, technical aspects, realization procedure and their brief description. The third - didactic part is the final chapter. It deals with the application skills acquired during the studies. It includes an art project Who am I? and ideas taught during the teaching practice - preparation and realization with attachments of presented artists, progress of students creativity
