Práce se primárně zabývá americkou zahraniční politikou vůči SSSR ve druhém funkčním období prezidenta Ronalda Reagana. První část textu popisuje formování americké zahraniční politiky a její aplikací v průběhu první poloviny 80. let. Druhá část popisuje vzájemné vztahy mezi USA a SSSR v letech 1985 – 1989. This paper deals with american foreign policy towards the U.S.S.R. in the second term of president Ronald Reagan. The first part of the text describes shaping of american foreign policy and its application during the first half of the eighties. The second part describes bilateral relations between the United States and The Union of Soviet Socialistic Republics in years 1985 – 1989. The aim of the paper …more
