Impact of economic and energy crisis on the health determinants of the residents from selected region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá vlivem hospodářské a energetické krize na determinanty zdraví obyvatel regionu ORP Tišnov. Cílem diplomové práce je identifikovat možné dopady hospodářské a energetické krize na vybrané determinanty zdraví obyvatel na příkladu regionu obce s rozšířenou působností Tišnov s následným návrhem konkrétních intervencí pro podporu zdraví v regionu. V rámci diplomové práce byly sledovány dopady krizí na finanční situaci, zdravotní péči, stravovací návyky, zdravotní stav, spotřebu návykových látek, subjektivní hodnocení zdravotního stavu, vybrané aspekty života jako návštěvy více typů zařízení a bylo také sledováno uvědomění si působení vnějších vlivů na zdraví. Data byla získána dotazníkovým šetřením a nestrukturovanými rozhovory s respondenty. Z výsledků výzkumu vyplývá, že největší dopad krizí na zdraví měla zvýšená míra stresu u více jak 82 % respondentů během koronavirové a energetické krize. Dále bylo zaznamenáno, že více jak 50 % respondentů pocítilo během krizí omezení zdravotní péče. V závěru diplomové práce byla navržena opatření, která by měla přispět ke zlepšení situace během krizí na území ORP Tišnova. Konkrétně se jedná o posílení dostupnosti zdravotní péče prostřednictvím webového portálu, informovat a vytvořit osvětu mezi obvodními lékaři a zavést podpůrné edukační programy pro širokou veřejnost.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the impact of the economic and energy crisis on the determinants of the health of the inhabitants in the Tišnov region. The aim of the diploma thesis is to identify the possible impacts of the economic and energy crisis on selected determinants of the health of the population on the example of the region of the municipality with extended powers of Tišnov with the subsequent proposal of specific interventions for health promotion in the region of this municipality. Within the framework of the diploma thesis, the impacts of crises on the financial situation, health care, eating habits, health status, consumption of addictive substances, subjective evaluation of the state of health, selected aspects of life such as visits to several types of facilities were monitored, and the awareness of the effects of external influences on health was also monitored. The data were obtained through a questionnaire survey and unstructured interviews with respondents. The results of the research show that the greatest impact of crises on health was the increased level of stress for more than 82 % of respondents during the coronavirus and energy crisis. It was also noted that more than 50 % of respondents have experienced health care restrictions during these crises. At the end of the thesis, measures were proposed that should contribute to the improvement of the situation during crises in the territory of the Tišnov municipality. Specifically, it is about strengthening the availability of health care through a web portal, informing and creating awareness among general practitioners and introducing supportive educational programs for the general public.
