Fraktální komprese nepatří mezi standardizované metody. Existuje spousta metod a algoritmů, které různě využívají významnou vlastnost fraktálů, sobě-podobnost. Tato práce popisuje waveletovou transformaci jako pomocný nástroj pro zpracování signálů a kompresi dat. Fractal compression belongs to non-standardized methods. There are more methods and algorithms, which are using the important feature of fractals, self-similarity.
